I had this bag built based around a U.S. Navy RFP looking for a... Black backpack w/holster, computer case and cell phone carrier (heavy canvas material) worn on back to include: ambidextrous handgun holster, 2 magazine holders, general purpose compartment (to hold additional magazines), main compartment - separate padded laptop case compartment to hold laptop case, outside container for bottle water, shoulder strap and briefcase handle, separate pouch for computer accessories and side slot for business cards, no user logo needed. One of the major requirements for the bags was the ability to carry a Sig Sauer pistol concealed within the bag. The holster for this weapon would be ambidextrous, and attach to the bag in a manner that can provide for adjusting the holster, and if desired, the removal of the holster from the bag. Additionally, they wanted pouches for a cell phone, a soft computer case, a water bottle, pens/pencils, business cards, and other computer related accessories.

So with that in mind, I scoured around a few quality custom tactical companies I've dealt with in the past and have this to show for it, not a bad first generation laptop bag. With future C4I.org laptop bags I plan on adding a flap over the laptop sleeve with two snaps for those rare times the bag has to fly in the luggage compartment (I hate those overzealous baggage handlers) and I'd like Molle straps on the inside of the bag to add the removable holster (Glock 36?) and a couple of magazines, I'm also pondering adding Level III-A body armor as last resort protection from those unknown threats no one wants to think about.

I hope to have the 2nd generation bag ready for orders soon, drop me a line if you're interested.
